For example, "bir.ds" and "examp.le" (using the fictitious country-code domains .ds and .le) suggest the words birds and example respectively. In this context, the word hack denotes a clever trick (as in programming), not an exploit or break-in (as in security)."

The Web is a city divided into plots of lands called domains: DomainA, DomainB, DomainC etc.
DomainH.com is the ground floor of DomainH, but it's crowded so we build upwards.
A new TLD is a new Top Level on the Domain, built by a generic company or - as with .ac (🇦🇨Ascension Island) - a country.
A DomainH.ac is a penthouse suite.
